This tour was so much fun! We drove through Shibuya and into Harajuku, which was such an exciting experience. Our guide was awesome and made the whole thing feel like an adventure. The weather was perfect for a spring ride, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to see Tokyo.
This was so much fun! We went for the H-S tour with our guide. I was a little nervous at first, but it turned out to be just like driving a normal car, only with the amazing Shibuya view and passerby’s waving at us! Definitely try this out while in Tokyo! Our guide knows the timings of the traffic lights so well, we were able to get such a great view throughout, especially at the Shibuya Crossing. There was tons of time to take pictures while waiting at the red lights. The whole experience was arranged really well, with safety and road traffic rules in mind. Plus, we got to dress up in cartoon outfits!
This activity was a thrill ride! It may look a little corny because of the costumes, but don’t let that fool you; you are gunning the accelerator through Shibuya Scramble Crossing. I think this was the most fun we’ve had in Japan, and we’ve been here for 35 days with a jam-packed schedule. Our guide was excellent at safety, providing clear explanations in English, using hand signals, keeping the group together, and taking pictures of all of us. They are a pro, and I wish I could rate this activity higher. I’d give it a 10! If you’re American, you will need an international driver’s permit from AAA. Each country will have their own requirements.
I was a bit hesitant at first since I didn’t know Tokyo well and wasn’t familiar with the driving rules, but honestly, the experience with our guide was fantastic! It was so much fun driving the kart through the city! The experience flew by, and it was definitely the highlight of my trip 😊😊😊
100% recommend doing this Street Kart on your trip to Tokyo! It was such a great experience and so much fun! Our guide was amazing – so friendly, funny, and will bring you lots of smiles! The costumes fit plus size and karts are plus-size friendly as well, although it’s a bit of a trek uphill (144kg Female). You can also purchase GoPro recordings, and it’s totally worth it!
Our guide was amazing! The whole group had such a blast touring Shibuya. I’m so glad we did this experience! 10/10, would recommend to everyone. The costumes are a nice touch, and they even have fun character hats if you don’t want to wear a full costume.

Just finished up our ride around Shibuya! Honestly, it was one of the funnest tourist activities I’ve ever done. The kart went faster than I expected, which was a great surprise! We went at 6pm as the sun was setting – perfect timing!
Doing Street Kart Shibuya was absolutely amazing. A must-do activity if you’re visiting Japan. Our guide was fantastic, and we had such a great tour with them!
